Quality and Environment Policy
The Management of FACILITIES AND RAILWAY RESOURCES S.L. (hereinafter IRECFER), a company dedicated to the Design, Installation and Maintenance of electrification (Catenary) for the railway, power lines, signalling, communications and traction substations, considers the Quality andthe Environment as basic objectives of the company and, therefore, its Integrated Management System Policy is based on the following principles:
1. Maintain the profitability of the company, based on the Integrated Quality and Environment System, achieving continuous improvement and the satisfaction of our customers as the main objective.
2. The prevention and reduction of environmental pollution and possible environmental aspects of our activity.
3. Control the activities that may generate significant aspects, both for company personnel and subcontractors.
4. Promote the exploitation and rational use of energy resources.
5. Separate, reduce and manage the waste generated in our daily activities.
6. Ensure compliance with the legislation and regulations applicable to the activity to be carried out, both regarding Quality and the Environment.
7. Establish, assess, control and review the objectives and goals of both Quality and Environment. 8. Ensure the qualification, training and experience of the assigned personnel, as the main tool of the executed works. 9. Integrate our suppliers and subcontractors in the commitment to protect the Environment. 10. Ensure the quality of the works, through the necessary controls and inspections(external and internal).

The Integrated Quality and Environment System involves all IRECFER personnel, suppliers and subcontractors in the commitment to continuous improvement and, from the company’s Management, human, technical and economic resources will be provided to achieve the objectives marked.
