As a continuation of the existing yellow line, the new track will use a 750-volt direct current electric traction system with flexible overhead catenary. Starting from Santo Ov\u00eddio station, the yellow line of the Porto metro will be extended by 3.15 km. Three new stations will be built: Manuel Le\u00e3o, Hospital Santos Silva and Vila d\u00b4 Este, as well as a warehouse and workshop, and an additional track for reversing vehicles south of Santo Ov\u00eddio.Structures of 555 m in total length between Santo Ov\u00eddio and Manuel Le\u00e3o, and through a 1 km tunnel that will house the Manuel Le\u00e3o station – the only underground station covered by the work – and adjacent sections. It will end 160 m from the Santos Silva Hospital. The laying of 3 km of new roads and the construction of four metro stations:<\/span><\/p>\n
