Works Carried Out

The railway electrification works planned in the construction project for the standard gauge connection of the La Llagosta Multimodal Platform comprise: the installation of the overhead contact line (catenary) on the new reception, dispatch, and loading/unloading tracks; the installation of supports, cantilevers, and conductors, both messenger and contact wires; the connection to the existing 3 kV DC power supply network, including autotransformer substations and the required protection panels; the installation of return cables and grounding of the facilities to ensure electrical safety; the installation of disconnectors and switching equipment to enable operations and maintenance activities; the execution of voltage tests and commissioning of the electrification, ensuring interoperability with the El Papiol–Mollet line and the high-speed line viaduct.
